Musician-actress\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.shondaland.com\/inspire\/a19567564\/rock-and-roll-badass-malina-moye-is-here-to-stay\/\" target=\"_blank\">Malina Moye<\/a>\u00a0knows what it&#8217;s like to not\u00a0<em>have<\/em>\u00a0enough. &#8220;I came to Cali with $20 and I was homeless,&#8221; she says of the time after her 2004 move to Los Angeles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>But despite the ups and downs of her nearly 15-year journey to becoming a Billboard No. 1-charting recording artist \u2014 her 2018 release,\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/blues-albums\/2018-05-12\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Bad As I Wanna Be<\/em><\/a>\u00a0topped the Blues chart \u2014 one thing Moye has refused to question is whether\u00a0<em>she herself<\/em>\u00a0is enough. &#8220;I know my worth, I know I matter, I know I count. That&#8217;s it. There is so much power in saying &#8216;I am enough.'&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>And now with the release of the video for her latest single,\u00a0<em>Enough<\/em>, the virtuoso guitarist, singer, and star of the 2018 film\u00a0<em>The Samuel Project<\/em>, is out to spread that empowering message to others.
