Malina continues to make Rock & Roll history, defying the odds against genre and race. At the annual She Rocks Awards ceremony on January 24, hosted by The Women\u2019s International Music Network, Malina received \u201cThe Next Generation\u201d Award from organization founder Laura Whitmore. Other award winners include Sheila E., Janie Hendrix, Grammy winner Gaby Moreno, Maricela ‘MJ’ Juarez, Beth Marlis, Dinah Gretsch, and Robin Walenta. Malina and her band capped off the event by performing a Hendrix-tribute of Foxy Lady.<\/p>\n
