Malina Moye sings Star Spangeled Banner at Petco Park, San DiegoWCE Records recording artist Malina Moye will sing the “Star Spangled Banner” as part of the opening ceremonies for the Padres vs. Cubs game at Petco Park in San Diego on Tuesday. That same day, Moye releases her debut record “Diamonds & Guitars” and will be performing on San Diego’s Fox 5 morning show in the early hours to kick off the record release. “Diamonds & Guitars” is available digitally at Amazon.com and iTunes on Tuesday, August 18, and will be in stores this fall.

Moye is also featured in Victoria Secret’s “Life is Pink” and Channel One’s “New Now” later this month. As a lefty guitarist, Moye is a Fender Guitars endorsee and is an ambassador to Prince Charles’ Prince’s Trust.

Malina Moye plays at Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

On Sunday, Malina Moye received a Proclamation from Lorain, Ohio’s mayor, Tony Krasienko, in front of City Hall to kick off Lorain’s annual “International Day Parade.” Fans watched on through a few raindrops as the creed was made into law.

Later that afternoon, Malina headlined Cleveland’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame tribute for musical legend, Michael Jackson. Moye dedicated her show to the pop icon and took a moment of silence for prayer and reflection, followed by an energetic performance. Crowd favorites were Malina’s newly released singles “Need Your Lovin’” and “Alone,” and a surprise twist on a Jimi Hendrix classic, “Foxy Lady.”

In the days preceding the show, Malina made several appearances in the Cleveland area for the kick-off of her upcoming LP “Diamonds & Guitars” which is slated for digital release on August 18, 2009.



Malina Moye Is Written Into Law Proclaimed By Government Officials

Malina Moye will receive a proclamation from the Mayor at Lorain, Ohio’s International Parade before it kicks off on June 28,2009 at 11:30. Appearing on several Early morning shows, Malina will be a guest of WJW Fox 8 morning show which will be taped at the prestigious Cleveland Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for Fox 8 Rocks Jukebox series. She will follow up with a performance at the Rock Hall for “Rock and Soul Day,” declared by the Hall of Fame as a celebration of the “vitality of Black influence on American music and its culture with an irresistible impact that is profound and lasting.” Malina will also make several in-store appearances and meet and greets throughout her visit.

Malina Opens for Boyz II Men

Malina supported Grammy Award-winning vocal powerhouse Boyz II Men outside of Las Vegas at Terrible’s Star of the Desert Arena on January 17, 2009. She made further appearances at sponsor Planet Hollywood on the Las Vegas strip and at the ‘coolest’ place in the desert–Minus 5 Ice Lounge at the Mandalay Bay.

Malina Moye Rocks HOB Supporting Robin Thicke and BBD; Records with Singleton!

Malina opens for platinum recording artist Robin Thicke and Bell Biv Devoe (New Edition) at the House of Blues Orlando and Anaheim respectively. All shows were sell-out crowds and our Soul Maestra opened several thousand more eyes while mixing up her melodic vocals, strat-grinding solos, and sexy moves for some new original tracks forthcoming on her Diamonds and Guitars record (released Q1, 2009).

Malina also hit the ATL and linked up with uber-talent funk-soul-rock producer Charlie Singleton from legendary group Cameo. The tracks will be the final touches to Diamonds and Guitars.
